A group of graduates interested in staying connected with classmates
restarted the Association in early 2006. While in years past, Decatur
has had an alumni association, the group has not been active for
several years. Recently though, alumnus from various classes
came together to re-establish the Decatur Township Alumni Association. The
Association will serve as a way to promote alumni activities, to find
friends who have moved away, to create more solidarity between classes, and
to bring alumni back into the township. The association will
sponsor class wide events, serve as a conduit for students and teachers to
re-connect, and help the township and school district.
